Bruce K. Scharfenberg
HANCOCK - Bruce K. Scharfenberg, 61, of Hancock, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at Marquette General Hospital after a heroic battle with cardiac amyloidosis.
Bruce was born in Detroit to James and Doris Scharfenberg.
He was a well-respected artist and set designer throughout the Detroit area.
On June 22, 1991, he married Jill A. Johnson of Flushing, Mich.
Bruce was the father of Christopher Redfeather, Grant and Hannah Scharfenberg.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, James.
He leaves to honor his memory his wife; children; mother; a brother, Doug; sisters, Jane and Gretchen; and special cousin, Lawrie, plus an enormous amount of loyal and loving friends.

Memorial services will be held July 7, at 6 to 10 p.m. at the Kangas residence, 525 Buell, Oakland 48363.

I’m a friend of the Scharfenberg’s, and would like the address for Bruce’s mother, Doris, in Stillwater, MN.
Have you received any directions on how best to access the Kangas’s house? My husband is going to try to drive over from Grand Rapids for the service.
