Patricia A. (Mattson) Tussing

Patricia A. (Mattson) Tussing, 83 of Chassell, Michigan passed away on March 31, 2024 at Portage Pointe in Hancock, Michigan. 

Pat, known to many as "Patsy", was born December 21, 1940 in Pelkie Michigan to the late Ralph and Helmi (Koski) Mattson. Pat attended the Pelkie School and a graduate from the Baraga High School. 

Pat was united in marriage to Paul Tussing of Houghton on August 15, 1964 and made their home in Chassell raising a son, Paul Tussing Jr. of Chassell and daughter Penny Tussing of Ishpeming.  

Patsy was well known in the community for her decades of employment at Kmart and helping coach the local women's hockey team, the Houghton Angel's, along side her husband Paul.  She loved to shop, rummage sale, decorate for the holidays and eat at her favorite restaurants. Pat loved and adored animals and children, especially her two grandchildren who equally adored her, Zakkary Tussing and Lexus Tussing of Jacksonville, Florida. 

Pat was preceeded in death by her husband Paul Tussing, parents Ralph and Helmi Mattson, her siblings Nancy (Ralph) Turunen, Gerald Mattson and twin sister Priscilla (Paul) Monette.  

At Pats request, there will not be a funeral service. The O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is assisting with the arrangements. To leave online condolences, please go to http://www.oneilldennisfh.com.
