Margaret was born to George and Bertha (Tiffey) Coleman on August 6, 1921 in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
Margaret married Virgil Lawhorn on January 1, 1945 before Virgil went to fight in the Army during WWII. Margaret went to San Luis Abispo, CA and worked in a bomber plant while Virgil was overseas.
