Hancock: Carol Jean (Ojala) Wilkinson, 83, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Woodruff, Wisconsin.
She was born in Hancock on December 1, 1938 to the late Toivo and Ethel (Pirkola) Ojala. She was a graduate of Hancock High School and lived much of her life in the area.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Haggard; brothers and sisters-in-law Raymond and Dolores Ojala, Frederick and Carol Ann Ojala, brother-in-law, Reino Anderson, and husband, Timothy Young.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Haggard and daughter Jill (Brey) Laux; grandchildren Jeffrey, Jamie, and Allyson Laux and Jeffrey Outinen; a brother, Robert “Butch” (Mary Jane) Ojala; sister, Shirley Anderson; husband, James Wilkinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock with Deacon Tom Corrigan presiding.
