Freya served faithfully alongside her husband in the USAF while raising six children. An Immigrant from Germany, she was most proud of becoming a US citizen and that her sons and sons-in-law served in the military.

She is survived by her four children, Elizabeth (Barry) Dayhoff, Louis (Connie) McGrath, Erin (Richard) Kangas, and Robert (Tammy) McGrath, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandsons.
Freya always had a smile and her laughter was contagious. She was a delight to all who provided for her care. A special thanks to the many caregivers and staff at Friends Care Community.
