Paul E. Coon

Hancock: Paul E. Coon, Sr., 81, of Hancock, died on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Omega House in Houghton.

     Paul was born on July 8, 1937 at the Hancock Canal area to the late Charles E. and Ethel M. (Tucker) Coon. He was employed at Coon's 66 Gas Station in Hancock, the Church of the Resurrection, and then at the Tire Shop.

     Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers Donald and David Coon, and by sisters Barbara Finch, Janet Eddleman, and Charlotte Olive.

     He is survived by his children, Judy Coon, Christina Coon, and Paul Coon, Jr., his brothers Frank (Idella) Coon, Ralph Coon, and Howard (Sharon) Coon, sisters Blanche Erickson, Dorothy Carle, Ethel Cartter, Donna (Terry) Whitesall, Virginia (Kelly) Pinten, and Shirley (Jake) Skewes, a brother-in-law, Dean Eddleman, and nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home of Hancock with Reverend Father William Ssozi to officiate. Interment will be in the family lot at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.
