Peter Norman Norgard

Dollar Bay: Peter Norman Norgard, 61, of Dollar Bay, passed away at his home on Friday, April 26, 2024 following a lingering illness.

He was born on October 22, 1962 in Hancock to the late Norman and Clarice (Ebert) Norgard. He was a 1981 graduate of Hancock Central High School. He worked at Cohodas-Paoli in Houghton and at the Quality Super Market in Hancock. He then moved to Grand Rapids where he was employed at Owen-Ames-Kimball Company, a large construction firm for many years. He later returned to the area where he worked as a self employed handyman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Clarice Norgard. He is survived by a sister, Karen (Don) McDonald, brother David, sister Gina, and twin brother, Paul; nephews Jeremy (Starrla) McDonlad and Rob (Amy) McDonald; 3 great nephews and a great niece; two special friends, Matthew Babcock and Becky Swille, and other family and friends.

At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation of funeral services.
