Though I only met Dave through my staff position in the Physics Dept office (Sept'96-'98) I wish to add that Dave was a wonderful human being to be around. He always kept his sense of humor in play, even when discussions were a little serious. He paid attention to detail and was thoughtful on all levels...I have a hand-crafted bracelet he brought back from one of his fishing trips as a momento.
I'm sure you will miss him, however in time may your grief become peace.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. We were fortunate to know your Dad during the original EMP days. He was such a kind man and spoke so highly of you Chad. He was such a gentle giant and will be missed.

Hello Chad,
I never met you but I worked with your dad at VanAire for a long time and we were good friends for many years afterwards. I visited him in Houghton and he took my family out on his boat for fun up there. We kept in touch over the years until a few years ago we sorta lost touch. I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great man and a good friend. He will be missed. He made me laugh so many times with his jokes and stories.

Hello Chad,
I remember your dad very well. We rabbit hunted mostly and fished a bit way back.
I hope you will be able to take solace in his life. He was a good man and a good friend to me.
Tho you may not remember me as I left the Copper Country in 1986 I will always remember both of you fondly.
Deepest sympathies, Charle Burger
