Myrtle was such a sweet lady with a spunky sense of humor that will surely be missed. I always enjoyed listening to her and the rest of the family tell stories of growing up in Dollar Bay. I will always think of Myrtle during the 4th of July and remember all the fun times spent at their home on the lake. We want to send our sympathies to the family and let you know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to Terry, Tom, Mike and all the other members of Myrtle's family on her passing. She was a really great person to know and be with. I will always fondly remember my times with her and Bill and greatly miss them both.11

You mother was just a great lady.. whenever I saw her she would always appear genuinely interested in what I was up to, she would always ask how I was doing and I knew she really wanted to hear what was going on in my life.
We went to your camp so many times throughout the years and had such a great time with your entire family.. Your mom and dad always made us feel like we were welcome and that they were glad to have us there..
Your parents were the salt of the earth.. I have many great memories of the time I spent with them.
My parents were so lucky to have your parents as life long friends.. I can't tell you how many times I have heard the story about how they all met shortly after we moved to Dollar Bay.. They enjoyed life a lot more by having the Hillibrands and the Nyes as friends.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all..

Your mom was a sweetheart! While I cleaned she'd tell me a lot of stories of when she was nursing & when she was dating your dad. Thoughts and prayers go out to you all!

Our sympathies to the Hillenbrand family on the passing of Myrtle Hillenbrand. John worked with Mike, and played golf with both Mike and Tom for several years while in Chicago (and Las Vegas). Although we did not know Myrtle or Bill, we have fond memories of the stories that emanated from the Chicago area friends who visited Dollar Bay during the summers. It was obvious that Myrtle and Bill were most gracious hosts during those holiday celebrations.
