Ripley: Robert J. Andrews, Jr., 49, of Ripley, passed away at UP Health Systems-Portage Hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
He was born in Hancock on November 9, 1966 to Robert, Sr. and Margie (Seppala) Andrews.
Robert enjoyed his schooling at the Copper Country Intermediate Schools, and then later working at the Copper Country Workshop. He especially enjoyed his bus rides with his many friends. He also liked to watch football on TV, car rides with his parents, and watching NASCAR races.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Stephen Paul Andrews, and his aunt, Kathy Seppala.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Margie Andrews of Ripley; an uncle, Charles Andrews; by five aunts: Betty Voldarski, Helen Kainulainen, Mary Burgan, Alice Kolka, and Sandra Kilpela; and by many cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the O'Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock with Rev. Fr. William Ssozi of the Church of the Resurrection to officiate. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock.
