Donna,

My memories of walking down the path through the woods to visit the Archambeaus are some of my favorites. We'll miss Walt, and you were doing such an amazing job taking care of him. I love running into you on my walks and I hope to see you soon.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear of Walt's passing. You and Walt certainly take up a major part of my happy memories as a child. (Walt was often at work, but his apparent approval of the generous nature in which you handed all manner of treats to us eager neighborhood kids was enough.)  Our sincerest sympathies go out to you Donna. You are in our thoughts and prayers. ~Eddie and family

My dear Uncle, all the love and joy you gave me. Fishing trips, pushing over dead trees in the bush, playing on the snowmobile, skiing in the woods, a beer on the porch, all the meals and family love from you and Aunt Donna while I was at Tech. Countless times, I am your kid.  Rest in peace Uncle, I will miss you.

We'll miss you Uncle Walt. One of the most truly genuine men I have ever known. So glad to have skied and hiked with you, Aunt Donna and all the dogs. Thanks for keeping a watch over us for all those P-O-R rallies. And for sharing your love of the Copper Country. Big hug to Aunt Donna. Love, Paul (nephew in-law)

I feel sorrow as to Walt's passing but also feel comfort in knowing he lived a long productive life. His wife Donna and my Mother were good friends and I know him from that relationship... plus living in the same apartment for a year when I was a little tyke.
He was a good guy and I'm glad I knew him. And crazy as it seems, a good playmate for at least one day.
Sh-Boom, Donna... my sympathies.  :(
